Meagan Tandy currently stars as Sophie Moore on the hit CW series Batwoman. Other credits include starring in the critically acclaimed Lifetime series UnReal opposite Shiri Appleby and Constance Zimmer. Tandy also starred in the long-running MTV mega hit series Teen Wolf as Braeden. She received critical praise for her standout performance in Starz hit series Survivor’s Remorse in which the SF Chronicle says “Beautiful as she is, Meagan Tandy is a lot more than set decoration as Cam’s wise girlfriend, Allison Pierce. If someone isn’t developing a star vehicle for her yet, they should be.”
Meagan also starred in John Gulager’s remake of the iconic Piranha 3DD which premiered in 2012. Meagan’s first feature film role was in 20th Century Fox’s Unstoppable as Maya, the daughter of Denzel Washington’s character. On television, she starred in the ABC Family drama Jane By Design as Lulu Pope, the most popular girl in school. Tandy has guest starred and recurred in many other memorable spots including Baby Daddy, The Mayor, 9JKL, Red Band Society and Necessary Roughness to name a few.
Tandy was born in Northern California and always knew she wanted to be an actress. Her supportive parents enrolled her in acting classes at the early age of 10 and Meagan loved to film her own reenactments of all of her favorite movies. In high school she was an excellent and popular student and was elected Head Cheerleader and Pep Commissioner.
When Meagan was 19, she thought it would be fun to enter the Miss California Teen Pageant, her first pageant ever. She won. A year later she was named Miss California USA 2007. It was a thrill to have both honors, but she kept her focus on acting.
